  1. Starter: Get out your chromebook and add something to your website (an artist, a page, inspiration, research, etc.)

  2. Add artists to your website every week!

  2. Charcoal Transfer Drawings workshop!

a. Make a charcoal transfer drawing and post it on your website.

How to make a charcoal drawing:

a. get your materials ready (newsprint, charcoal, paper, masking tape, pen)

b. cover newsprint with charcoal

c. tape paper down on desk, then newsprint charcoal side down facing paper

d. draw with a pen on top of newsprint to transfer the charcoal to paper

  2. PRESENT WEBSITE!

  3. Work on your sketchbook, website, drawings, or magnets!

  3. Elements of Design Video

  4. Line: The visual path that enables the eye to move within the piece.

Shape: Areas defined by edges within the piece, whether geometric or organic.

Color: The different hues.

Texture: Surface qualities which translate into tactile illusions.

Value: How light or dark something is on a scale of white to black.

Space: The space taken up by (positive) or in between (negative) objects.

Depth: Perceived distance from the observer, segmented into the foreground, background and optionally middle ground.
